Our Programs

Over 1,200 incarcerated individuals have completed our flagship, 12-week program that brings together prison residents, outside volunteers, and victim-survivors to deepen participants' understanding of harm, build empathy, and imagine different futures. Art and Life explores the power of the humanities to transform residents who have faced economic barriers to college. After more than a decade, this curriculum has proven to be uniquely suited to men and women living in prison. 

Introduced in 2024, RJ on the outside utilizes a similar curriculum as our prison-based groups while providing meals, childcare, and other wrap-around services to support formerly incarcerated people in their successful journeys of community reintegration and healing.

RJ at Work provides program graduates with opportunities to participate in projects, activities, and classes that reinforce accountability, encourage continued dialogue, and build a deeper understanding of responsible community membership.​​

WPP supports monthly book clubs in correctional facilities across Wisconsin for residents who have received state certification as peer support specialists. Facilitated by formerly incarcerated peers, these groups provide direct support for peer specialists and have ripple effects for those they support within the prison community.
